Terms of service

Last updated · 29 July 2026

These terms govern your use of the Suma Gourmet Pro ordering platform (the “Platform”), operated by Suma Gourmet General Trading LLC, PO Box 390741, Al Quoz Industrial Area 3, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“Suma Gourmet”, “we”). By creating an account or placing an order you agree to them on behalf of the business you represent.

1 · The service

The Platform is a business-to-business ordering service for approved trade customers — restaurants, hotels, caterers and food retailers. It is not a consumer store. Access requires an approved trade account; we review every application and may decline or revoke access at our discretion.

2 · Accounts and your team

Your company administrator can invite colleagues, assign roles and set per-order limits. You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for all activity under your company’s accounts. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use — we can revoke any session instantly. We may suspend accounts for security reasons or misuse.

3 · Orders, weights and prices

Much of what we sell is cut and weighed to order. Prices shown per kilogram are your contract prices; totals shown in the cart and at checkout are estimates. The final invoice amount is based on the actual weighed weight of your order after packing, at your agreed price. Totals include UAE VAT at the prevailing rate where applicable.

If we detect a pricing error on an item, we will contact you before charging rather than invoice a wrong amount. Orders below the minimum order value may carry a small-order delivery fee, shown before you place the order.

4 · Payment

Depending on your account you may pay on approved credit terms, by card, or cash on delivery. Card details are collected and stored by our payment provider (Stripe) — we never see or store card numbers. For card orders, your card is saved at checkout and charged the exact invoiced amount after your order is weighed and packed. Credit orders draw on your approved credit limit; orders above the available limit may require finance approval. Overdue balances may pause new orders until settled.

5 · Delivery

Deliveries follow the delivery windows available for your emirate and address, subject to order cutoff times. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please inspect goods on receipt; being chilled and perishable, quality claims must be raised promptly with your account manager or through the Help centre so we can put them right.

6 · Changes and cancellations

You can request changes or cancellation of an order before its cutoff by contacting your account manager. Once an order is being weighed and packed it can no longer be changed on the Platform.

7 · Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Platform — including attempting to access other companies’ data, probing or disrupting the service, or reselling access. Catalog content, imagery and pricing are provided for your business use as a customer and remain our property.

8 · Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from any order is limited to the invoiced value of that order, and neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9 · Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date above shows the current version; material changes will be notified through the Platform or by email. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

10 · Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction.
